Running In Michigan

So Ive been wondering around for a while and there are absolutly no legit good places to go for running near the detroit area of Michigan. The best place I have found is Pickney state park's Potowatomi trail, which is the trail my first 50 mile race happened to take place. Unfortunatly thats a nice 45 min drive and over repetitiveness it becomes a track that loses its interest over time.
